Art of Recovery Services NFP is a not-for-profit Community Mental Health Center(CMHC) that offers quality, evidenced-based services tailored to each individual client.
AOR offers a broad-range of recovery-focused mental health and behavioral health services, including Assertive Community Treatment, Community Support, and Therapy Services.
OUR MISSION is to provide comprehensive and compassionate mental health services guided by the understanding that change isn't linear and recovery is an art. We empower individuals to embrace their recovery, support them in achieving their full potential, and foster a community that promotes mental wellness, resilience and inclusivity.
OUR VISION is to serve as a leader and innovator for community mental health in Lake County and beyond. Our services are designed to maximize individuals' independence, self-sufficiency, and quality of life, by helping people identify their own strengths, talents and interests as we work towards recovery together.
Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is a 24/7 multi-disciplinary, community-based outreach approach for at-risk individuals:
• ACT serves individuals with severe and persistent mental health disorders and significant co-occurring needs, including homelessness, involvement with the judicial system, medication management, and substance abuse
• ACT services are delivered by a team of mental health professionals from a variety of disciplines, including vocational services, medical staff, and case managers
• ACT services are individually tailored to the needs of each client
AOR provides recovery and resiliency oriented community support and case management for individuals who do not require an ACT-level of care. Services like Community Support Team (CST) provide team-based outreach that helps clients increase independence, manage symptoms and access community resources.
For those who do not require community-based support, AOR provides individual and group therapy.
